The Tao Chan Wing Chun Organisation
Wing Chun Grandmaster Abbot Venerable Chi Sim founded the TCWCO (Tao Chan Wing Chun Organisation) to spread the authentic and traditional Chinese Wing Chun.
The TCWCO divides into the ITCWO (International TCWC Organization) based in Hong Kong as World Association and the ETCWCO (European TCWC Organization) based in Nuremberg, Germany.

Having generous external support, the TCWCO is not reliant on financial support by students, other world associations, the press or by any means of sales. This allows for being highly independent, even from Chinese and other International Wing Chun Associations.
This is important, as Grandmaster Abbot Venerable Chi Sim promised to keep his teachings original and authentic against all modifications. One promise he gave to his friend Prof. Dr. Kong The-Cheng 2001, the last descendant of Confucius, is to only teach the genuine Chinese culture in the western countries, which he got written permission to do. Already 1996, 30 years ago, Grandmaster Abbot Chi Sim also promised his Sifu Grandmaster Prof. Dr. Ip Chun to protect and keep the real Wing Chun in the West.
The goal of the TCWC Organization is to spread the Original Wing Chun System in western countries, even if it means facing economic pressure, handling news outlets or mainstream opinion and other big associations.
Unlike most Wing Chun schools in Germany and Europe, Abbot Chi Sim integrates Chinese Culture and Ethics in his teaching and graduation concept, specifically important aspects from Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism.
Currently, establishments of the TCWC Organization are located in
- Nuremberg
- Munich
- Augsburg
- Hong Kong
- Frankfurt
- Regensburg
- Würzburg
- Ingolstadt
- Stuttgart
- Duisburg
- Praha
