Tao Chan Wing Chun Lineage
Successor of the Buddhist founder of Wing Chun: Grandmaster Venerable Abbot Chi Sim, 11th Monk Level Wing Chun

Over 350 years after the attack and destruction of the legendary South Shaolin Monastery of China, where the roots of Wing Chun and the Chan Buddhism lead back to, for the first time, Tao Chan Wing Chun merges the two lineages back to its origin.
Grandmaster Abbot Venerable Chi Sim combines the original Ip Man Wing Chun lineage by being a decades long first-degree disciple of Grandmaster Ip Mans oldest son Grandmaster Prof. Dr. Ip Chun together with the direct lineage of the Buddhist Chan tradition dating back to South Shaolin by being a first-degree disciple of Zen Grandmaster, Most Venerable Park, Buddhist Grand Patriarch.
Abbot Venerable Chi Sim is in the 54th Chan monk generation on the direct lineage of Bodhidharma, founder of Shaolin and Chan, as well as an 81st generation monk on the direct lineage of the historic Buddha Siddhartha Gautama.
For the continuation of the lineage after the last Abbot of South Shaolin, Abbot Venerable Chi Sim, he was given the same Buddhist Dharma name by the Chan Grandpatriarch.
As the only holder of the 11th Monk Level in Wing Chun in the world since the destruction of the Southern Shaolin Monastery he is the official Buddhist successor of the legendary founder of Wing Chun, Shaolin Abbot Chi Sim.
